KashVector (kashvector.com) is a collection of free financial tools built for everyday people. This policy explains what data these tools handle — and what they deliberately do not.

No accounts, no personal data

KashVector has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information — except if you voluntarily submit the Contact form, described below.

Tools that run entirely in your browser

The following tools perform all calculations locally in your browser. They make no network requests for calculation — none of the values you enter leave your device:

Values you enter into these tools stay in your browser. Some of them save your most recent inputs to your browser's local storage so they can be restored on your next visit (see "Local storage" below); this data never leaves your device.

Stock Evaluator, DCF Valuation, Gordon Growth Model, Growth Stock Evaluator and the Most Undervalued screens — network requests

Nine tools — the Stock Evaluator, the DCF Valuation calculator, the Gordon Growth Model calculator, the Growth Stock Evaluator, and the Most Undervalued ASX 300, Most Undervalued S&P 500, Most Undervalued NIFTY 500, Most Undervalued KOSPI 200, and Most Undervalued Nikkei 225 screens — fetch live financial data from Yahoo Finance. When you enter a ticker symbol and run an analysis (or, for the undervalued screens, simply open the page), the tool sends one or more ticker symbols to a Cloudflare Worker endpoint operated by KashVector. The Worker forwards the request to Yahoo Finance and returns the financial metrics or live prices to your browser. The only data sent over the network is:

• The ticker symbol you entered (e.g. AAPL, BHP.AX)
• Your IP address, as seen by Cloudflare — used solely for rate limiting to prevent abuse

The Worker does not log ticker lookups against your IP address beyond a short-lived in-memory rate-limit window (approximately one minute). For lookups made through the Stock Evaluator, DCF Valuation, Gordon Growth Model, and Growth Stock Evaluator tools specifically, the Worker records an anonymous aggregate count — the ticker symbol, which tool it came from, and the UTC date — in a database so we can see which stocks are searched most often. Nothing that could identify you or link separate lookups together is stored: no IP address, no user agent, no session or device identifier, no hashed token of any kind. These aggregate counts are used to publish a monthly "most looked-up stocks" list on the site; only a rank and percentage share are ever shown publicly, never raw counts. The Most Undervalued screens' own bulk data fetches are not counted in this aggregate.

Contact form

The Contact page lets you send us a message directly. If you use it, the name (optional), email address, subject, and message you enter are submitted to Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service, which forwards the message to our inbox. Your email address is used only to reply to you — it is never sold, shared with anyone else, or added to a mailing list. KashVector does not store submitted messages on its own servers; Web3Forms' handling of the submission is governed by their own privacy policy: https://web3forms.com/privacy.

Local storage

KashVector tools use your browser's localStorage to save data on your own device so it can be restored on your next visit. Specifically:

• Theme preference (light or dark) — shared across all tools.
• Recent ticker symbols — the Stock Evaluator and DCF Valuation remember the last few symbols you searched, for quick-tap suggestions.
• Your entered values — most calculators (Budget Planner, Debt Recycling, Portfolio Health, FIRE, Mortgage, Salary Sacrifice, Life Buyback, Rent vs Buy, Budget Impact, HECS/HELP Repayment) save the inputs you last used so you don't have to re-enter them.
• kv-profile — a small set of values you enter (e.g. mortgage balance/rate, state) that are shared across tools that use them, so you don't have to re-enter them. Stored only in your browser; never sent to any server.
• kv-dismissed-suggestions — remembers which "try this next" suggestion cards you've dismissed, so they don't reappear. Stored only in your browser.

All of this data stays on your device. It is never shared, transmitted, or synced to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for kashvector.com.

Third-party services

• Yahoo Finance — provides stock data for the Stock Evaluator via our proxy. Yahoo's own privacy policy governs their handling of the proxied request: https://legal.yahoo.com/us/en/yahoo/privacy/index.html.
• Cloudflare — hosts the proxy Worker and serves this website via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to network-level data they observe: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
• Web3Forms — delivers messages submitted via the Contact form to our inbox. See "Contact form" above and Web3Forms' privacy policy.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

KashVector contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no fingerprinting scripts. Some pages contain affiliate links to Sharesight and Simply Wall St (see below) — clicking either link may set a tracking cookie on that provider's domain, governed by their own privacy policy.

Cookies

KashVector does not set any cookies directly. Cloudflare may set technical cookies as part of its infrastructure (e.g. for DDoS protection); these are governed by Cloudflare's policy above. If you click the Sharesight or Simply Wall St affiliate links on this site, that provider may set a cookie on their domain to track the referral — this is standard affiliate tracking and is governed by Sharesight's privacy policy or Simply Wall St's privacy policy respectively.

Affiliate links

Some KashVector pages contain an affiliate link to Sharesight, a portfolio tracking service. If you purchase a paid Sharesight plan after clicking this link, KashVector may receive a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — the special offer (save 4 months on an annual plan) is available exclusively through this link. KashVector does not receive any personal information about you from Sharesight, and the affiliate relationship does not influence the content or advice provided by any KashVector tool.

Some KashVector pages also contain an affiliate link to Simply Wall St, a visual stock research service. If you sign up for Simply Wall St after clicking this link, KashVector may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. KashVector does not receive any personal information about you from Simply Wall St, and the affiliate relationship does not influence the content or advice provided by any KashVector tool.

Children's privacy

KashVector is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. Since these tools collect no personal information at all, this is structurally the case.

Not financial advice

All KashVector tools — including the Stock Evaluator, DCF Valuation tool, Gordon Growth Model, and every calculator on this site — are general in nature. They are prepared without taking into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs, and nothing they output constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any security. Before acting on any output from this site, consider whether it is appropriate to your circumstances and, if necessary, seek advice from a professional licensed to give it — for investment products, an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holder.

Tools such as the Stock Evaluator and DCF Valuation calculator compute public financial frameworks (for example Benjamin Graham's formulas, discounted cash flow models, and Buffett/Dalio-inspired baseline metrics) entirely from data fetched at request time — no advice is generated or stored by KashVector. Any output (a verdict, a score, an intrinsic value estimate) is a mechanical mathematical result of the inputs and thresholds used, not an opinion about, or recommendation regarding, any specific security.

Default assumptions built into these calculators — growth rates, discount rates, margin-of-safety thresholds, terminal values, and similar — are illustrative baseline figures only, not predictions of future economic conditions. Most tools let you override these defaults; how much the output moves when you do is itself useful information about how sensitive the model is, and a reminder not to treat any single output as a fact.

Market and financial data used by these tools is sourced from third-party feeds (primarily Yahoo Finance) and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. KashVector does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Past performance, historical ratios, and trailing metrics are not reliable indicators of future results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), KashVector and its creators accept no liability for direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, any calculator, score, or data point on this site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
