About KashVector
KashVector is a free suite of stock valuation tools — DCF and dividend discount models, scorecards against the Buffett, Dalio and Graham frameworks, and weekly undervalued-stock rankings across multiple markets — plus calculators for everyday Australian money decisions: mortgages, budgeting, retiring early, and debt recycling. No sign-ups, no subscriptions, no ads.
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server (except ticker lookups in the stock tools, which go through a secure Cloudflare proxy). Your financial information never leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
Are these calculators free?
Yes — completely free, forever. No sign-up, no trial period, no premium tier. KashVector is a personal project with no paid tier — a couple of clearly labelled affiliate links help cover costs, but every calculator itself is free to use.
Do you store my data?
No. All calculations happen in your browser. Your inputs are saved locally in your browser's localStorage so you don't lose them on refresh — but nothing is sent to any server or database. The only exception is the stock tools, which fetch live data from Yahoo Finance via a secure Cloudflare proxy — no personal data is transmitted.
Are these tools specific to Australia?
Most tools are built with Australia in mind — they use Australian tax brackets, superannuation rules, CGT discounts, and state-based stamp duty rates. The FIRE Calculator and the stock valuation tools work globally. The mortgage, debt recycling, salary sacrifice, and rent vs buy calculators are Australian-specific.
What's the difference between the Stock Evaluator, DCF, and Gordon Growth Model tools?
The Stock Evaluator scores a stock against three checklist-style investor frameworks — Buffett, Dalio, and Graham — and reports how many criteria it passes. The DCF tool estimates a stock's intrinsic value from projected future cash flows across Bear, Base, and Bull scenarios. The Gordon Growth Model values dividend-paying stocks from their dividend stream and can also solve in reverse for the growth rate the market is already pricing in. All three are calculators — you set the assumptions, and none of them tell you whether to buy, hold, or sell.
How are the "Most Undervalued" stock rankings calculated?
Each ranking screen runs every stock in that market's index (e.g. the ASX 300) through the same DCF/DDM valuation engine used in the DCF tool, with a fixed set of default assumptions — discount rate, growth rate, and terminal value — shown alongside every result. Stocks are then sorted by the size of the gap between calculated intrinsic value and current market price. The lists refresh weekly and are provided for general information only, not a recommendation to buy or sell any security — you can change every assumption yourself in the DCF tool.
Is this financial advice?
No. KashVector tools are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant, or mortgage broker who can assess your full situation.
